​The baseplate angle of longboard trucks determines the turn rate, which affects stability and responsiveness of the board. Adjustable angle trucks exist, but I wanted to machine a pair specifically designed for a drop-thru mounted board. After designing the parts in SolidWorks, I used HSMWorks CAM to create and optimize toolpaths to machine all the parts of the truck. I mounted the finished trucks to my favorite drop-thru board. In only a few seconds I can change the angle of both trucks, taking the board from responsive cruiser to a stable downhill platform.

The trucks can adjust from 0 to roughly 55 degrees for a full range of turn rates
